The Hawk is sitting with Friends outside of the Il Segreto Cafe, drinking espresso and sharing stories and yes...secrets. The cafe in the background translates to The SECRET and its stone facade lends to the rustic nature of this work...along with the wooden tables and chairs. This looks like it might be an every day occurence for these gentlemen. The clothing is casual and rustic, as well and seems to be appropriate for the region...as it looks like the Haw appears twice in this work, or could it be that there is someone else dressed just like him?.

Aldo Luongo is known for his portraits of the Hawk, landscapes, romantic couples in the park and of women. This is a wonderful example of his treatment of the hawk in his art. In this work he has placed the Hawk in a familiar setting, outside of a cafe socializing..
