This is a limited edition release of an Aldo Luongo giclee on canvas, titled Country Friends. Aldo Luongo again features "The Hawk", a character which represents his Father, in this work. The Hawk is sitting in a rocking chair, savoring a glass of red wine...with a trusted friend in the form of a dog, beside him. The background of this work is a weathered house and barn. The color he chose for these structures is not really what the viewer would expect and they ALMOST sink back into the greenery of the landscape. The color however actually brings the structures out from the landscape and features them, without taking away from the main focal point, the Hawk and the dog.

Aldo Luongo is known for his portraits of the Hawk, landscapes, romantic couples in the park and of women. This is a wonderful example of his treatment of the hawk in his art. In this work he has taken the Hawk out of the bar or the billiards table and placed him in a serene setting in the Country.

This limited edition is in a very small edition of only 50 Signed and numbered works and 10 Artist's Proofs. This beautiful work can be shipped un-stretched and rolled in a tube, or it can be stretched and shipped flat.
